Good morning. I am using RMS 2.0 with SQL 2005 backend. I have set up an offline db, and when I go to sync it for the very first time, it comes up with this message. 'cannot resolve the collation conflict between "Latin 1_General_CI_AS" and "SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS" in the equal to operation.
I am assuming the collation between the 2 DB's aren't the same. how can I fix this ? Thank you.
First, in the Administrator connect to the Main Database, check its properties, write down the Collation on the main DB.
Disconnect of the main DB.
Then, connect to the offline database, and go to Database -> Change Collation, change it to the same collation that the main DB has.
