I think the (1) quantity filed for the item should refelect the total number of items (the parent should be converted) so you can actually see the total on hand when displaying an item. If the parent amount was shown it would have been ok. (2) When dispalying an item from the POS (f2) the bin location should be displayed also. (3) when entering quantity it should go both ways from Item to parent and the other way around. .
