Is there a way to import purchase order information trough an import tool?

There are a few import tools around that are specific to the customers requirements. Purchase Orders in particular have a few varianbles that are to be considered.
We have a couple of differnet types of PO imports that are quite basic.
Retail Retail have an import utility that seems to be pretty good.
