Purchase orders

Items that are sold by the each are often purchased by the package. The MPQ in SupplierList table indicates the quantity in a package. If a package type field were added (bag, box, case, BBL, etc.) this data could be used to generate a more useful purchase order.

This is a suggestion I would vote 1000 times for if I thought it would make a difference. This is a very big issue for us. Our main supplier sells a lot of items by the case that we open up and sell individually. Some of these items have to be bought by the case but we have to order by the amount that's in the case, other items we need to order by each case we buy instead of the quantity that's in the box. Because I send my order electronically this can be a problem. I have to manually change the quantity of the items to order the correct quantity. If I miss an item the number of cases I will receive will be the quantiy inside of the case. Even if all quantities ordered get corrected, I have to remember to switch the quantity received back to it's original amount before receiving. We need the ability to pick the method used for ordering cases on an item by item basis. Craig

Absolutely agree. Also agree that nothing will be done, even if we all voted

1000 times. Microsoft seems to be ignoring the fact that the parent/child system is terrible in RMS.

PLEASE!
