QuickBooks integration with HeadQuarters

I have a Microsoft Partner who asked if Quickbooks 2003 could be integrated with RMS HeadQuarters. Currently, the only option for QuickBooks integration is with RMS Store Operations.

The partner encouraged suggesting this improvement as he would have been able to make several sales if this were possible. As a result, Microsoft sales were lost to competitors.

I didn't vote.

My company operates four stores, uses HQ and QuickBooks. My head bookkeeper is adamant about upgrading annually, so we're on QB2006. We have not integrated RMS and QB. We have a reliable, always-on >1Mbps VPN.

My resellers plan for integration involves having each store transmit it's data to QB daily. We'd end up with separate daily entries for each store.

My plan for integration involves kicking QB to the curb and switching to Great Plains - ahem - MS Dynamics GP. However, our accountant has Notquickbooksaphobia, and the aforementioned head bookkeeper has Whatevertheaccountantsaysitis, so we'll see which plan gets implemented somewhere down the road...
