Would like to see an online web store feature in RMS. Such that the online store is directly integrated with the RMS SQL databse.

You mean like they claim it does in their advertising material?
So if you have a high volume bricks and morter store and a website you are left to MANUALLY update your web inventory????? DESPITE Microsoft claiming that RMS will provide this functionality for you?
BS marketing lies!
I STILL do not have a good solution for this after months of searching. One pair of microsoft partners (storefronmt and newestech) have a solution but a lot of their users say don't touch them with a ten foot pole.
The others that I have checked out either have a custom solution at a cost that is many multiples of the RMS price or only have 1 or two "live" sites. (Way to risky to take a chance on).
I am now considering dumping RMS alltogether and selecting another Retail POS system (don't throw good money after foolish as my grandfather used to say).

Hi Jim and the crew,
My business partner and I have completed a prototype of a webstore for one of my friends, and he has RMS at his store. My question to you guys is that if I developed a ecommerce store such as

and provide a script to syncronize the data from the bricks and mortar store into the ecommerce site would you be willing to sign up with us. My issue is this. My friend really wants me to host his ecommerce store since my business partner and I are perfectionists. The issue is that I don't want to have 1 client and forever have only him. If I could get commitment from 5+ customers for a deadline of September I could at least have a base to start. I'm looking at charging $300/month and that includes hosting, unlimited products, video, zoom feature and ability to customize pages to some degree. Also I want to use Google Checkout since it seems the cheapest. Only 2% and not only that you get credit towards google adwords for advertising your store for each sale you make.
If anyone wants to conact me you can at 778.892.4849 anytime. I'm open to suggestions as well. My email address is snipped-for-privacy@hotmail.com
