store changes sent to headquarters

Allow the store to create items and make changes to items and allow these changes to be propagated up to headquarters.(only if this feature is activated)

How would you sync and maintain an active, valid, database to use, rely and report against?

I dunno, but as far as creatign items goes, maybe you could do it the same way the global customers table is maintained at HQ? Once the customer is created, it gets sent to HQ. After that, HQ owns it.

I can see the 'create new items at the store' feature as being much easier to implement than the 'modify items from anywhere' feature.

We have already done this as an Add-on [part of the fashion bundle - item create] that allows to create items at store and HQ.
