I have used and still use the EMS MS SQL Import tool and it has the ability to Append / Edit records. In fact that is why I got this tool because of its ability to do this but also many other things. You can also update using the QS Import tool by unchecking 'Treat duplicate records as errors' the only thing is it completely over writes the entire record so you have to import everything back into the record. i.e. ILC, Description, Price, Cost, Inventory, Onhand, Matrix Member.....basically any field that has a value in it, otherwise it gets erased.
