Setting up a Basic Macro

Hi, I'm trying to setup a macro that with one key made a discount (10% or

5%), and this discount only applied in one item.

Thanks

Gas28,

While not exacting what you are after, its gives you all of the steps;

This is somewhat unrelated, but I have found the Logitech G15 programmable gaming keyboard to be a great cheap way to use macros at my POS. It has 18 macro keys that can be used in three modes (total of 54 macros).

The trick is once you get to the Discount Screen the Marco Recording pauses. So before you start recording the Discount screen you must press Shift-F3 again. (Once you get to the Discount Screen look at the top of the transaction screen you will notice a Pause symbol on the Macro icon.) Also make sure you have an item added to the transaction and that the item is selected or record an up arrow keystroke to select the last added item, to perform a discount on a single item. Lastly, make you use only the keyboard not the Mouse or your Keypad when recording the Macro.
