I wrote a SQL ('Select ... from ...') and would like the output to go to a txt file ('C:\DailySales.txt'). Can someone with more SQL knowledge tell me how I can send the output to a .txt file?

It depends on how you run the query - most tools, including SO Administrator, have a "save as" or "export" command on the file menu. Just make sure you are saving the results rather than the query.
