Things we've sold none of!

How would i get a report to include items we have sold zero of, so for example it would include departments/catagories in the report list even though there are no sales from that department.

There is a Dead Items report, or a no-movement report that you can run. It will report on any items you have not sold any of for a date range.

It may be a custom report that you will have to add into your reports folder. You can get these reports off partner source.

What version of the software are you running?

Use the Item Value List report and set the criteria as "NOT Last Sold" and set the date range as the last 3 months or 6 months or whatever you want "and Qty" 0 and you have a Zero Item Movement Report.

Sorry, i think i have not made myself clear...

I want to run a sales report for each month this year, but i want each report to include a department, even if there were no sales within it. that way i can cut and paste them into excel easily, and the columns and rows will all line up.

So if in July i didnt have any Christmas Dept sales, i would like it to list the Department name with a total sales of £0.

hope that makes more sense!
