How would I add a field that shows what percentage is the value of sales for an item compared to the report total?

Which report and what do you want to see?
Several reports but for example a detailed sales report. I want to see the percentage of sales for each item within a category. Another example would be to see the % of sales by department on the top departments report. It seems that no reports within RMS do this type of calculation.
