Hello all,
I am VERY new to the world of Microsoft Dynamics RMS and have been thrown to the wolves so to speak.
The company that hired me has put me in charge of installing and overseeing the upgrade of the 1.3 RMS to 2.0. I have done 2 of our 3 stores without a hitch, But the 3rd and final computer is giving me quite the headache.
During the initial installation of 2.0 on this computer it gave me a "The previous version can not be uninstalled at this time" error message and would stop there.
I did get support and found that if i used the windows installer repair utility that i would be able to get 2.0 to install successfully. Although after installation and upgrading the database, everything seemed to go fine until i got to an actual sale when the tender box was clicked it gave the good ol "Attempt to execute COM object 'BuyX.GetY' failed. Could not create object" --and it will not tender.
Since i am in WAY over my head and there seems to not really be anyone at my small company to help me out here i am curious if there is anything i can do to fix this problem.
And for all reference i only have an A+ certification :-/
