Update the quantity from what source? Your item quantities should be updated in realtime through transfers issued or received, purchase orders received, sales, returns and other adjustments.
Are you asking about scheduling HQ Client to connect to HQ every 5 minutes? IF so, in HQ Manager there is an option on the store's connection schedule that says something like "within the hour"...
