First there is no import utility that is supported by Microsoft. Your only options are:

  1. QSImport (which you already have, I personally find this very easy to use and if you save your settings it can be quite fast to import files. The thing with the QSImport Utility is, you don't need to know things like the Supplier's ID or the Dept/Cat ID's you just need to know the name and the import utility will associate the item by itself. Which makes this utility very powerful.)
  2. EMS SQL Import (, designed to work with any SQL database, but not specifically for RMS and you need to be a little technical)
  3. Retail Realm's Import Utility (not sure of price, designed to work with RMS and have not had a whole lot of experience with it)
  4. There are 1 or 2 more third party addons designed specifically for use with RMS. Search the NG you should be able to find them or wait I am sure those companies will post if they have them.
  5. There are many, many more ways to import into the RMS database, including the DTS, SQL Statements, Excel and so on but these require high technical knowledge.

Then EMS's Data Import will probably work the best as you can create and save templates for each vendor.

That's the beauty of the EMS tool it can be used on any SQL database. However, if you have HQ and are importing things like Items then you will want to import those items into the the HQ Database and push down those items to the stores.
