Zune should be based upon an industry standard

in both hardware and software connectivity. The ipod has the industry catering to them with connections, software controllability etc. MS needs to get together with Sony, Creative, Iriver and other players and say we are going to get together and uphold a standard for both connectivity (cars stereos, tv's, portable speakers to allow superior sound over the usual stereo connection) and software. If MS can do this then it will allow for people to have more options to purchase outside of apple. Lets face it the ipod is not the best sounding device. If MS can do this with creative, sony and samsung, they could swing apple into joining this standard that would allow people more choices. If MS comes out with raw power and just Zune itself, they will struggle more. You have to get a standard established. This way when I go to purchase a new mp3 car stereo or TV I can have good connectors for a variety of portable players...you guys should know this already. Thanks.
