Certified payroll

Currently our small company uses QB D.I.Y. payroll for our employees. We were just awarded a contract for a job that requires prevailing wage and certified payroll.

Anyone have any experience with generating payroll in-house with QB and monitoring prevailing wage jobs? Would it be better to outsource?

Which add-ons, if any, do you recommend?

Any caveats or things to beware of?
