Concurrent access to QB?

Why should I care if no one stands up and cheers, it works for me and enables me to continue to use a passable accounts package (QB6) at a reasonable outlay rather than:

1) Be forced to 'upgrade' to a newer and 'better' version every year or so. 2) Run one copy on one machine by one operator, and perhaps twice a week have another operator dip into the accounts from another machine to print one report without disturbing operator 1.

I'll be buggered if I'm paying for a new multiuser license every year, for an update i don't want, for the extra licenses that I don't need most of the time. Intuit used to be quite good, but went downhill and their 'support' stinks, last time I used them I got billed even when they couldn't answer the question. And going by most of the topics on here, neither the functionality nor the support has got any better.

So, whereas i'll quite happily pay a reasonable price for a reasonable product, (and I buy at least £500 of other software per year) , I'll take advantage where shoddy goods can be improved or made cost effective. And I'll also point out what I've found to like minded people. Like it or lump it, this isn't the intuit lovers group, in fact it wouldn't be needed if Intuit were flawless!

You are full of beans. If the above were the only reason for your theift then you would not be going to all the trouble your method requires.

I would have made the same comment no matter what software product you were stealing. You see my friend its usually the worker at the low end that gets hurt the most when thieft occurs. The big wigs simply order a bottle of

300.00 wine at diner instead of 350.00, the women that cleans the toilets can't feed her children.

Err, my method takes three clicks, one click on a .reg file, one click on quickbooks, one on a second .reg file. Takes 2 secs longer than opening quickbooks. Hardly an effort!

So are you saying that Intuit are toilet cleaners? Hmm, "New Intuit Bleach, leaves you in the shit" does have a ring to it.

Actually when children are hungry they cry they do not ring. You anti-intuit bastard.
