Credit card late payment fee refund

QB 2002: I paid a credit card bill that included a late payment penalty, and split the transaction to post the penalty to administrative expense. The penalty was canceled and we received a refund check for the penalty amount. How can I enter this to apply the credit to the administrative expense account?
