Non-profit 2005 - invoice date does not initialize at current date

Hello --

My friend at a feline shelter non-profit says the default invoice date does not show as today's date.

Is this behavior known to be a problem for the non-profit version?

Does anyone know how to fix it so today's date will appear in invoice date when creating invoices?
