I am using QB2007 for Mac with all updates, on an Intel iMac running OS 10.6.4. While doing a reconcile, the register went crazy and showed dates like 01/26/34 and 03/02/41, and payment and deposit amounts in the millions of dollars, or even the term *overflow*. However, when I select one of these crazy transactions, the numbers return to normal. When I select another transaction, the first one goes back to being crazy. Throughout it all, the balance column appears correct.
I reinstalled the program after trashing the program and its prefs to no avail. I have opened a backup file to see if it would be clean, but it shows the same crazy numbers. I have used Verify Data and Rebuild Data, but the numbers are still crazy.
Has this happened to anyone?
