Capital gains from sale of mutual fund

Question. I have Q06. We sold some shares (twice) of my son's college fund (UTMA) to pay for school.

Assuming we chose the first in-first out accounting method, how do we determine the capital gains from the sale?

Assuming you've done all your entries in Q correctly, run REPORTS-->TAX-->CAPITAL GAINS and ensure the report looks right after you customize it to isolate the date range and securities in question. Does this help?

Please tell me how you can sell shares twice. I would like to try that, especially when I bought them only once.

sorry.
