I've used Quicken for more than 10 year. I converted to 2006 Deluxe last month
I just dowloaded transactions from my broker for the first with 2006. I got a lot of these Entry Placeholders.
Any experience in resolving these? Some involved transactions more than 10 years old. I didn't have this problem with the .QIF's and I hope there is a simple fix

For my cleanup - it was a matter of reconciling the holdings .... number of shares that Quicken has accounted VS the number of shares the brokerage says... The placeholder is the difference from zero - I just went in and added the correct (or fudged) transactions to zero out the ledger.
