exporting spreadsheet data to OFX format?

Greetings and Salutations

I'm trying to decide if Quicken 08 is worth is, and if there is a work around Intuits decision that I should enter by hand two years of biweekly 401k transactions. For six different funds.

Of course, I can't import from a QIF file, but are there other options? Like a OFX file?

Or am I just out of luck on importing investing data from a bank not in their list? (I'm still peeved that Intuit decided to create their own version of the securities. Cie l'guerre.)

You might look at this page

formatting link
for XL2QIF that allows you to convert an excel file to a QIF file to be imported into Quicken.

Thanks.

I'm going to have "fun" with this.

Last time, I found Quicken 2005 so satisfactory, that in 2006 I found nothing better. Which is what I used until I decided I needed to keep current with the investments. And Quicken '08 is following in that path.
