I'm using Quicken to do the books for my local community orchestra. I'm looking for a convenient way to get the orchestra's income / expense items by Form 990 category. Since Q2005 doesn't seem to let me add new tax item definitions, and since I'm already using classes for a different purpose, I've misused predefined tax items for the moment.
Is there a way to define new tax categories in Q2005? Or, some other way (I'm already using classes for other purposes) to get to "alternatively classify" income and expense items so that I can sum / transcribe them at FY end?
