How to Print Bills and Scheduled Transactions

Quicken 2005 H&B

I recently received a replacement credit card with a new expiration date and I need to update all of the automatic charges to the account. I have them setup in Deposits and Other Schedule Transactions as (Auto). I wanted to print a list of the ones to a specific account but would be happy to print the entire set.

Unfortunately, selecting File\Print Bills and Scheduled Transactions only prints one page so the list is cut off. I tried the "Manage Full List" but that doesn't show the accounts being charged.

Is there any way to print everything shown in the Bills and Scheduled Transactions (other than screen shots)?

The expiration date on your credit card should be of absolutely NO interest to anyone except for the companies who bill debts to it. Absolutely NO ONE else should be involved, aside from yourself, of course.

I think I said that. I have automatic charges setup for fixed amounts going to the credit card. I also have variable amounts that are automatically charged to the credit card (i.e. phone bills). I need to alert all of these vendors.

I wanted to generate a list of those vendors. I thought I could print the Bills and Schedule Transactions list since all of them appear there either as automatic entries (for fixed charges) or as alerts (for variable charges). Unfortunately, the print function in the Bills and Scheduled Transactions form doesn't work properly -- it only prints one page. One more bug.

Ah, Stewart, I see your problem. Since I have only about 4 who bill to my credit card and 7 who bill to my checking account, it would take be but a minute of two to *manually* jot them down from memory, even. Some of these

*problems* are best dealt with by the old-fashioned way-pen and paper, rather than spending hours anguishing on the net and/or pulling one's hair out, cyber or otherwise.

I don't think you have proven that what you are seeing is a bug.

I have Q2005 Deluxe and I can print my two pages of Bills and Scheduled transactions.

If the problem is that you can only print one page at a time (as opposed to only being able to print Page 1), you could try selecting each page to print in the Print dialog (using the "Pages: From: To:").

The bug is that the system only prints what fits on the first page of what should be a two page report. as to using the print dialog, that appears be another bug. The print dialog does not appear when I select Print Bills and Scheduled Transactions. Quicken immediately prints to the printer setup to print reports.

There also is no way to resize the columns in the Bills and Scheduled Transactions so the Name/Payee occupies 80-85% of the space forcing the Account column to be truncated after six characters when displaying or printing. Landscape mode doesn't help.

Customize only allows you to add more pre-defined items to the View -- it does not allow you to customize the Bills and Scheduled Transactions section at all.

I am running Quicken Premier H&B 2005 R6 on Windows XP SP2.

Like I said, Q2005 prints two pages for me just fine.

Then it sounds like you have some corruption; I get the print dialog.

Try Validating your data.

If that doesn't help, try deleting a few of the scheduled transactions that are just before and just after the last scheduled transaction that does print.
