Scheduled Transactions

The other day I entered a transaction for a bill into my register. The bill is a scheduled transaction so normally Quicken asks if the entry is the scheduled transaction. This time it didn't do that. So now I've paid the bill already and yet quicken says that bill is about to come due. Is there any way to match the scheduled transaction with the entry? Or is my only option to 'skip' it which removes it from the list of bills that were paid this month?

I'm using Quicken 2006 Premier.

Thanks.

You could delete the one you entered and allow the scheduled one to take it's place.

I don't know, but I must assume Quicken looks for similarities in Payees, or something, and did not see something close enough to invoke the question you expected.

This happens to me w/one scheduled payee. If I enter it manually I never get the pop-up asking if this is the scheduled transaction. Every thing but the am'ts are always the same; the only answer I have found is to skip the regularly scheduled transaction.
