iBank now, or wait Quicken for Mac upgrade?

Hi all,

I'm an intermittent lurker and poster here, and after reading yesterday's messages, I checked out the Quicken for Mac website. I don't think the information there said *when* the program was going to be out, although I did see that they were signing up Beta testers. I didn't bite on that hook yesterday, though I may go back this weekend and sign up.

I've been using Quicken in one form or another since 1997, and my only complaint is that occasionally it seizes up, usually when I also have Entourage open. I guess that Intuit and Microsoft can't play well in the sandbox together. That said, my hard drive is nearly full, and perhaps Quicken 2007 needs more *elbow* room to run, especially considering that many of my accounts have entries from 1997!

Anyway, I downloaded iBank a couple of months ago and tried using it, but couldn't get used to doing things differently as compared to Quicken 2007. Has anyone here had a better experience with iBank? If so, what prompted you to desert Quicken for Mac? Are you using both programs now *just in case* one of them has a major issue?

Thanks,

Jean in VA
