Quicken Financial Life for Mac - status?

I'm a Mac user, and I run XP under VMware only for Quicken. Are there any hints, rumors, tidbits, or clues about the status of the new Mac product, "Quicken Financial Life"?

(Yes, I've read Intuit's web page. Yes, I know there's no other official news from Intuit. Yes, I know rumors can't be relied upon. Thank you for playing!)

In my view, you'll probably being using the Windows version for some consderable time. On one hand, the current beta needs a great deal of work before it can be sold to the public. As the beta stands now it is missing a great deal of functionality, so much so that some might think that the beta is really an alpha.

On the other hand, QFL will be totally different from both the current Windows and Mac versions of Quicken, so much so that you might choose to keep running the Windows version for good.

Hmm, intriguing. I can't tell from Intuit's QFL page where it differs from Quicken. Got any concrete examples of where it may, or will, differ?

QFL does not use the account concept as has been traditionally used in paper ledgers and in Quicken but rather uses tags. A transaction is tagged with an attribute (these can be freely selected and multiple tags can be assigned to any one transaction) and then these tags are processed for reports further downstream. Many beta testers have expressed a great deal of concern about the use of tags and the potential for a lack of clarity in reporting that might ensue.
