importing qfx files

Hello,

I have Quicken XG 2006. I've downloaded a couple of statements from my bank, and they were saved as QFX files. I tried to import these, but the import wants .qif files. It appears that the Web Connect handles qfx files, but when I use web connect Quicken (obviously) tries to connect online via the web (but I've already downloaded the statements).

Can anyone explain this process to me?

thanks

How are you doing it. If I click download transactions button in the Transactions list tab it tries to connect to the Internet. If I go file->Import -> Web Connect file it opens the window to locate the file on the hard drive.

I'm using 2k6 H&B but I think it should be the same for your version.
