I originally wanted to know if you could convert a QIF file so it can be imported into Quicken 2007. I have two small files left over from before I changed to QFX files. Can that be done?


ok - Does Q2007 support Importing of older QIF files ?

Now, about QIF's In Q07 you can import QIF file into cash account, than copy the transactions into other non-investment account (multi-line selection is helpful).

Th>ere is also a workaround for QIF import to investment accounts - it was posted some time ago.

Since I didn't have Q2007 - I didn't know what menu options he had avail...

...then it went from the subject of Importing QIF to converting QIF into QFX, and then went to the real subject of Category assignment during Import/Update
