I am using Quicken 2004. As I am preparing for my tax return, I went to Report -> Tax -> Tax Summary with date range for last year. I noticed that there's one extra 401K contribution:
Category _401Contrib Account Tax Impact of 401(k) Accounts Num MiscExpX Description Memo Track 401(k) contributions for tax planning
Note that the "Account Tax Impact of 401(k) Accounts" isn't a real account I defined in the database. Instead, it appears to be some internal database that Quicken maintains. In this errorous transaction, the Description is blank. I do recall I had entered one transaction that later was deleted. How do I fix this problem? Is there any tools that I can download or purchase to do "data surgery"?
