I am trying to track a portfolio of investments in Quicken. I'm not sure if

Check and see if you have customized the report. Quicken has served me well for 21 years of investing. Try to get a detailed list of the securities in the report so you can look for a specific error. Any further details of your effort will help to figure out the error.

what version of Quicken ? and exactly what steps are you performing to create each report ? ie - Menu -> Reports -> then what ?
