long and short sale

Hello,

I purchased 1000 shares of stock XYZ into account A. I then transferred 500 shares into account B and 500 shares into account C. After 1 year, shorted 1000 shares of XYZ into account A.

Can someone tell me how to close out this transaction when I move the shares of XYZ back into account A?
