I hold Vanguard Prime Money Market. The price should always be $1 . However, according to Q07D it was 2.28 on 10/1,2,6,7 . Vanguard says "impossible". Has anyone else seen this? Are other securities affected?
I've seen a couple of recent reports about incorrect mm fund prices, but it's not a new problem ... maybe more like a re-emerging problem: it has happened in the past.
One or more of the posters reporting the recent problem suggested the incorrect mm fund "prices" looked more like the mm fund "yields".
I have VMMXX, but don't see the problem. Perhaps because I don't download quotes for mm funds.
FWIW Stubby, I have this particular security, and for the dates listed, I've only got $1 as the price. (It's the fund for my brokerage sweep account.)
Yes, I have the same problem for VMMXX with Q08H&B.
Looks like they may have changed servers around 9/24 because prior to that date I got only the Price and Volume and now I get (sometimes incorrect) Price, High & Low.
