problem converting from money 05 to quicken 06 Cash associated with invest account.

In money, an investment account has 2 "ledgers", cash transactions, and investment transactions. When I imported to quicken, I seem to have lost the cash transactions. Now my investment accounts are out of balance. Example. I bought shares of a mutual fund. The quicken account shows the purchased shares, but also a negitive cash balance because the import left out the actual cash being transfered into the account. Anyone know how to solve this problem?

You could adjust the cash balance by reconciling?

Not sure if this is what you're after, but an investment account in Q05 has two tabs at the top of the register. One says "summary" and the other says "transactions." Don't know how it's set up in Q06, but I'd find it hard to believe they killed the transaction part of the register.

Does that help at all?

Dave,

What version of Data Converter are you using? Find mny2qdf.exe (by default in C:\Program Files\Data Converter), right-click it and select Properties, then click the Version tab. The latest version is

3.1.1.14.

Oski,

The version I have installed, and the same one that is attached to your link is 013.000.000.000, not 3.1.1.14. Am i missing something?

After a careful review of my files, I noticed that the import utility actually created 2 quicken investement accounts for each money investment account. One with the cash transaction, and one with the investement transactions. Is there a way to merge both, or should I just delete the quicken account showing the cash transactions. Or, I can create a linked checking account, and transfer the quicken "cash" investment account transactions into that. What do you think? Thanks
