Problem with Asset Diversification

Jul 03, 2005 1 Replies

Hello: We use 2003 Deluxe.I have been told that all bank accounts belong in the Cash Flow Center. This I have no problem with!

When I go to do as asset allocation the total sum does not include our cash accounts only our investments $ are in the TOTAL SUM.

I have searched to determine if I had accounts hidden which we do not.

Can someone assist me to determine what may be wrong?

Question: Does the sum in the cash accounts add to the totals of all the accounts, saving & Investments?

In 2004 Deluxe I simply created the [investment cash] accounts in Cash Flow (as the program requires) and then moved them into Investing. Our Asset Allocation reports now show investment cash correctly, without 'poisoning' the totals in Cash Flow.
