Problem with Quicken

I am having a very bad time with Quicken 2005 DeLuxe. They radically changed the program when they upgraded it from the 2003 version. Parts of the program are fine, but there are other parts that are very, very difficult to work with and designed in such a way that I make many entry errors, and waste a awful lot of time correcting them. Since I use Quicken every day make many date entries, this is a big problem.

My question is: is it possible to use the 2003 and the 2005 versions on the same computer. If I can do this, I can cherry pick which parts to use from each version.

I would love some help on this.

Thank you,

Bob

No Bob, you cannot use multiple versions of Quicken on the same computer. And Bob, you cannot open the same Quicken data file on different computers with different versions of Quicken, only the most recent version that opened the file will not corrupt the file.

So Bob, unless you recently converted or need some of the features offered in Quicken 2005, you are stuck with Quicken 2005. But I'd recommend that you though it out. Millions of users are using (and coping) with Quicken 2005. Eventually you'll adjust to the new style (or whatever it is that throws you off your stride) and make fewer errors.

Happy Christmas.
