I am having to begin making quarterly estimated income tax payments in addition to withholdings from my paycheck. In quicken, when you set up a category such as estimated payments, I cannot find anything where you can assign that to a tax line that pertains to estimated taxes paid in. Surely they don't expect you to add that into Turbo Tax manually each year?
Every non-account category has a field for "Tax line item"; select your category in the Category List, Edit it, and assign the Tax line item of your choice (I see "Form 1040:Federal estimated tax, qrtly").
