Q2004 Stock Options and Splits

I have several years worth of employee issued stock options entered into Q2004 - each grant to fully vest over three years. The company recently did a 2:1 stock split. This transaction was entered in a Q2004 investment account where I hold full shares of the same stock. That split registered across Quicken and the stock options account adjusted by dounbling the number of shares and reducing the strike price by one half - all as it should have.

Today however I was looking at the Performance reports and noticed that for dates before the 2:1 split the price reflects pre split but the strike price and number of shares reflect post split. This falsely inflates the value of the options pre split and shows a huge current negtive performance post split.

Is there another way I should have recorded the split? The current values are correct - just want to be able to view overall performance.

TIA
