Q2007 / Loans / Establish Payment Schedule...

Hello,

I'm having a problems with Q2006, which is unable to establish proper payment schedule for a loans that have more that 1066 payment... for example, 25 years and weekly payment (1300 payment). Can anyone have do this or test it with Q2007? I like to know if Intuit resolve that long term (since Q2002 at least) issue.

Thanks

There was already a reply to this question (posed by you) in the Quicken Forums: The answer is, yes, Q2007 can schedule weekly payments for a 25 year loan.

I like to get a second opinion... the reply I have was from a user with less than 2 month of experience with Quicken.

Don't forget, there is a 60 day money back guarantee with Quicken; you can make the final determination yourself with ease at virtually no cost. (Though I might wait a bit longer before getting Q2007 ... so you have 60 days following the final release ... and maybe get those great year end deals on Quicken that everyone talks about.)

I've read all of Tony's posts in the Quicken forums; I think he knows what he is doing. And if I recall correctly, he has quite a bit of QuickBooks experience, so he's not a novice in the use of financial software.

OK... I'm convince now... You did a great job... will migrate to Q2007 soon... I notice that Bob is running R2... already... is it fairly stable?

[Q2007] is it fairly stable?

Which is why my suggestion was, and still is, wait a couple of months before purchasing Q2007. By that time, I'm guessing a new release should be out, and one will have a better chance of evaluating the product and being able to return it before the 60 day limit expires (with time enough for possibly yet another release).

Just discovered another reason for waiting.

Someone from Quicken just posted that XG still has the same limit on number of loan payments as did earlier versions.

Sorry, I kept forgetting that the op was using the Canadian version, and the person who tested and found the limit had been removed, was using the U.S. version.

Canadians will have to find another approach; I suggested one in the Quicken forums.

I'm sure most knew what I meant, but just in case, that last sentence should have read, "Someone from Intuit just posted that XG still has the same limit on number of loan payments as did earlier versions."
