Starting today 8/1/2017, I get the error message "Quicken Unable to Establish Internet Connection" when I try to update from Schwab using One Step Update. Reading the suggested courses of action, one says wait a day and try again. I guess that is what I will do. All other accounts (banks, credit cards, etc) are updating okay.
Schwab servers appear to be intentionally blocking connectivity due to a perceived attack. If the issue persists, I suggest you contact Schwab to insure your address is added to their white list.
It is working now. When I tried to do a Chat with Schwab this morning, I gave up after waiting 10 minutes. I am sure your explanation has a lot to do with my temporary problem.
