One Step Update problem with new credit card

I have 2 credit cards with my FI and have just opened a third. In my existing Quicken file, I've created a new account, set up the online access with my FI login and password. One Step Update then pauses for about a minute while trying to download from the FI, and eventually times out with OL-297A, "Quicken was unable to update your account. The most likely cause is either a temporary server outage or a firewall is blocking Quicken..."

This is repeatable, it's not a 20071108 05:50:01:

If I disable online access for the new account, I can download data for the other cards just fine. And, if I create a new Quicken file and set up the new card in it, it downloads OK there.

How can I get downloads for the new card working in my old Quicken file?

I should also add that I can download QFX data for the new account directly from the FI's web site, into my old Quicken file. The data is accepted and displayed. Even after doing that, One Step Update still will not work.

OK, posting the apparent error in the connlog may have been misleading, since even when One Step Update works (using just my older accounts, not the new one), the connlog content is the same:

I have never been able to download more than 2 Citi cards from one login ID. I have created separate login IDs and spread my cards out, so there are not more than 2 cards to download from each ID.

Even though YOU don't use the card, SOMEBODY ELSE might. So, I like to download my "inactive" cards daily.
