QUicken One STep Update Problem

Feb 17, 2016 2 Replies

I use Quicken 2016 R 4 under Windows 10 Professional.

One brokerage is giving me problems when I try to update the accounts. Franklin Templeton OSU gives an error of [OL-297-A] Unable to establish an Internet connection. This is a constant failure - not a server outage as suggested by the information from Quicken.

I have 6 other brokerage/banks that all work without error during OSU.

I checked all the settings for this brokerage and can't seem to se anuthing wrong. I don't use the Quicken password vault, so I enter my password each time. I am able to login the website with the same username/password, so those are correct. I talked with Franklin- Templeton web services and they have no answers, so I was looking to try to deactivate and reactivate the online access procedures. I looked on the page and there is a RESET option - which it says will not delete any data.

What does RESET actually do? Is it something to use here?

Any suggestions as to what to try other than the Deactivate/Activate step?

Not sure if what is here will help but read the whole post.

Thanks for that link. I did search, but did not think to add the Franklin-Templeton name in the search. Some day I will learn to be successful in searches so that I don't continue to look like I was too lazzy to research my problem before posting.
