OL-297-A with Chase

Nov 09, 2018 8 Replies

Quicken 2019, latest version.

So started getting a OL-297-A error attempting a one step update with chase.

Tried resetting account - "Account reset failed."

So I deleted online services for Chase. Re-connected. Got a pop up that Chase needed to e-mail or text me a code to connect. Received e-mail, entered code. Did OSA. Transactions got duplicated. Not sure which ones exactly, but my balance shot up by about $5k (I wish).

Restored from backup from a day or so ago. Back to original problem.

Tried reset account, no go.

So is there some way to get that I need a code sent to me? Or any other suggestion?

Thanks.

I'm having the same problem with Quicken 2017

Not sure why you would reset, or deactivate/reactivate, the account.

Here's the KB article for OL-297:

It's gotta be something stuck in Quicken. Like I said, after deactivating and reactivating the account, I was prompted for the verification code, and it worked, but then I had duplicate transactions. So not a internet setting / issue.

This has started well before the maintenance window...

No, it did not.

There have been several problems with Chase, but this one is not the previous ones.

I've been downloading from Chase for months with no problems: this OL-297 problem only began today (11-09-18).

And I can also confirm what others are reporting that the OL-297 error is now gone for Chase.

Yes, the error is now gone for me. Situation is back to normal.
