I've not gotten a download, nor even a connection for my Discover account for 4 or 5 days (looks like last successful d/l was 5/18). I've been getting OL-293-A error messages. I guess I can recall other weekends where Discover servers were off line for up to 12 hours, but I do not recall it ever being days. Anyone else having problems? Or success with Discover online updates?

I am not having any problem connecting or logging in to my Discover Account.
I do not use the Quicken Downloads. I am logging in using IE8.
Have you tried updating the account from within Quicken? For some reason the scheduled updates break and the only way to fix scheduled updates is to do an individual update for that account.
Same problem for days now.... Web site is fine.
It just started for me, but it is happening on both Discover cards.

Thanks for comments, and confirmations. By way of answer to specific comments and recommendations:
· I too can access the Discover Web site, that wasn't my point or question. · I have not been using scheduled updates, I always do manual updates, though I usually manually click the update button which updates all accounts in my PIN vault. Since this problem, however, I have manually updated the single Discover account by itself, but got the same OL-293-A error. · Thanks, I guess, for confirming others are having similar problem.FWIW, I tried disabling online updates, and re-enabling, which stalled during the set-up reporting the same OL-293-A error.
I guess I should just wait another couple days.
Regards, Jere

I called, because it seemed to me that it was already several days that the OSU didn't work for discover. When I finally got to the web help, she said they were aware of the problem, that it was only since Sunday, and there was no ETA for a fix. That was Monday evening, EDT.
Thanks Han for the follow-up. My own logs show it was happening as early as
5/21 (Friday). Good to know they are working on it, and not surprising they are not releasing an ETA for a fix. It would be nice to think competent folks already know what went wrong and have a pretty clear schedule for correction.Jere
I was especially amazed that they refused to pass me to the Web Support group until I had given them all my security information. I assured them that I was not going to make any transactions but only want to report a problem. No good. I'm to cancel Discover as a result. (Their cash back arrangement has gone to seed anyway.)
Stubby, before you cancel your Discover card, check out my post (today) on Citi Cards' absurd policy on removing erroneous penalty fees.... I'll be canceling both my Citi cards once I make a sufficient stink and get the $39 fee removed!
Regards,
Margaret
Ditto for me.
Same problem for days now.... Web site is fine.
