Download unsuccessful - unable to access recovery mode

Using qknp05r3.

In the past when receive error message for dl from any fi's that dl was not successful there would be a message when closing or reopening qkn that "Your last online session was not completed. Do you wish to try again." When yes was clicked I was taken to the one step update & there was an attempt to recover & then dl the transactions. Recently, however this does not happen, when I click "yes" nothing happens; when I do a one step update I receive an error message "Unable to complete request." This requires that I deactivate then reactivate the acc't(s) -- a royal PITA when the fi is a bank w/multiple acc'ts & cc's. Any ideas how to get the program to work the way it used to?? dj

Don't mean to be impatient -- but am I the only qkn user to experience this? Perhaps I did not explain it well but can't think of a better way. No one has any ideas? dj

Delete the account. Run a 1-step update. Get out of Quicken. Go back into Quicken. Create the account again. Do a 1-step update.

Also run a 1-step update with nothing checked off. This will update the software itself.

This is not an acc't issue -- this happens whenever the dl for any acc't is unsuccessful; the most frequent problem is amex, but it also occurs w/bank, other cc's, etc. from time to time. If I delete the acc't I would lose several years of transactions as dl only offers the last

60-90 days. Deactivating/reactivating works, I would just like it to work the way it should/used to, with qkn taking me to the screen to recover the problem acc't. dj

When it happens again, go to the Online Center. Hold down the Control key and select Contact Info. Select the account that's the problem and then check Statement and hit Refresh. I believe that's supposed to reset the bad download warning.
