Quicken 2005 Old Earnings Announcements

In the Portfolio view of my Investing center in Quicken 2005, the Announcements sections (the ! titems by the stock name) won't update. For the last month, they have been stuck on Aug. 10, 11 or 12th. The news items are current though. Any clues on how to get these to update?

Thanks, Mark

Hi, Mark.

I've noticed this phenomenon from time to time over the past few years. In addition to earnings announcements, sometimes Q continues to proclaim that my stock has just hit a 12-month high - which really happened a month or two ago. I don't know what causes this, and I don't know how to fix it. :>(

It's an irritation, but not as serious as some other Quicken aggravations, so I just live with it.

I was able to fix this, or at least re-set it, by de-selecting the "Quicken.com" sections in the one-step update, updating, then re-selecting and re-updating. Everything has been fine since.
