Download it while it lasts, I'm pretty sure Intuit doesn't want stuff labeled "confidential" all over the web.
PS. Powerpoint viewer can be downloaded from the Microsoft.com site

Funny. One of the things they are hyping there is the ability to store images or attachments. Remember the good old days when that was indeed possible for a long time (it worked for sure through Q2002).
It *is* gratifying to see that Intuit is listening to customers, at least that's what they are claiming. Hopefully, some early adapters will tell us about any problems, soon!

BTW, it is *not* encouraging to see that the OFX format will undergo only minor changes (for FIs). QIF (as promised) is gone for credit cards.

Interesting. You can sure see where their heads are at when they make the following statement
"The #1 reason people hire Quicken is "
Note the use of the word "hire" instead of "purchase".
Looks like they are also reinstating the ability to attach receipts to transactions. That's only been missing for what, 5 years now?

At the bottom of this page is a WEBex presentation on the powerpoint. It adds some interesting discussion to the upgrade.

Downloading it sure sucks. Perhaps the servers are overloaded? ;)

Seemed to work for me. I just had to install the webex plugin for Firefox. Preacher has a tinny voice, though, and I stopped it, since I'mm not sure there was going to be much more than was in the powerpoint slides, apart from sales pitch.

It turned out that it was the webex download that took so long. The presentation flowed easily. Was interesting (to me) to hear how they pitch Q2006 to the FIs. Also demos on some of the new Q2006 features were cool.
