Q06 deluxe. Never seen this before. I use a separate deposit account to enter all individual deposits and then transfer the total into the account on which checks are written. This allows Quicken to total the amount for bank deposit slip. However, tonight I had a case where on about the 10th transaction, which was for $200, Quicken only increased the total by $20, The next transaction was for $43, but Quicken increased the total by $110. At the end, the total in Quicken was $70 short of correct. When I deleted the transaction on which the first addition error occurred and reentered it, everything is now fine.
Should I just write this off as somehow a freak occurrence? Reinstall Quicken? Any ideas how this happened?
